how can I change the text size in the bottom line?

    Not sure that you can, some things are stored in the registry and can be changed. But hard to work out which one.

    Status bar doesn't have a size setting indeed, it depends on Windows display scaling setting: right-click on the desktop and select Display settings → scroll down to the Scale & layout section → click the dropdown menu under Scale → to make things larger, choose a higher percentage.
