XREF path update requires being set twice to reload correctly (BricsCAD 26.1.08)
Whenever an external reference (XREF) loses its original path and BricsCAD prompts me to locate the new file, the reload does not work correctly on the first attempt.
After browsing and selecting the correct new path, the XREF still remains unresolved or not properly reloaded. I must repeat the same process a second time (selecting the exact same path again) for the XREF to finally reload as expected.
This behavior has been happening consistently and appears to have existed for at least two or three versions prior to 26.1.08.
Steps to reproduce:
- Open a drawing with an XREF whose original file path is broken or changed
- BricsCAD prompts to locate the missing XREF
- Browse and select the correct new path
- Confirm and reload
- XREF does not update correctly
- Repeat the exact same path selection → now it reloads properly
Expected behavior:
The XREF should reload correctly on the first path update.
Actual behavior:
The path must be reassigned twice for the reload to work.
Version affected:
BricsCAD 26.1.08 (also observed in previous versions)
Impact:
This slows down workflows significantly when working with many referenced files, especially in multi-disciplinary project coordination.

I updated XREF paths yesterday - in Drawing Manager (I did not get a prompt for these).
I also did not see the changes. AFAIR it needed a press on the Redraw Icon.
