how does ADDSELECTED with a BIM window work?
I'm having difficulty figuring out how ADDSELECTED (either command line or right-click context menu) works with BIM objects such as a window.
My example using BricsCAD Ultimate v26.2.05
Here I've issued an ADDSELECTED command, chosen the existing window on the right, and am attempting to place it on the near perpendicular wall to the left. Using the dynamic dimension boxes I've got it located…
And then when I left-click - the window does not go where I expected…
It goes on the opposite side of the wall, and it's not functionally part of the wall. It's just "there" with no knowledge of the wall and doesn't cut through it.
As mentioned, the same behavior occurs when using the right-click context menu for addselected.
Am I doing something wrong?
