Can Parameters Be Hidden?

I have a block with multiple visibility states. When I change the visibility state, the parameters for the hidden objects are still visible, even though they aren't needed. It doesn't even seem possible to select the parameters like you can in AutoCAD. I've Googled it and asked Claude, but get nothing.
