AutoCAD LISP Compatability?
I am puzzled by the lack of AutoLISP compatability. (While less serious, VBA also has a lot of limitations to its compatibility.) Even a little bit of incompability makes the LISP and VBA abilities useless to a non-programmer. There is a vast library of programs out there to aid the draftsman, if only we had an affordable way to use them (ie a compatable version of IntelliCAD) Why is this compatability not there? Is there some issue which will never allow a 3rd party to make a program that is truely AutoLISP compatable? Can I look forward to true AutoLISP compatability in the future?Joe
