Error - read only file

When I double click on a read-only DWG file, ICAD promts with "This file is read only. Do you want to continue?". Pressing YES opens the file OK, pressing NO results in "A shell command was not executed properly. Please confirm that all command line parameters are valid and try again.". From now on, any subsequent double click on any DWG file (or any other attempt to start ICAD) does nothing at all - it just starts 'invisible' process icad.exe. You must manually stop the icad.exe process in task manager, then ICAD works again.W2k, Icad 4.0029RegardsVaclav

  • Note: The problem exists still in 4.1.0006. When I click on NO in the "Do you want to continue?" dialog, icad.exe process stays active and I have to kill it manually from task manager to be able to run ICAD again.RegardsVaclav

  • The process that stays behind is fixed in our latest code. You won't need to kill icad.exe manually anymore. regards, sander

  • Tested in 4.1.0016. It WAS corrected.ThanksVaclav
