Save on exit
It's a minor complaint, but I think since V4 Intellicad wants to save every open file on exit whether it has changed or not. Earlier versions and most other Windows programs do not do this and it makes working a bit smoother, there does not seem to be any reason to save an unedited file.

If you don't change the view (panning or zooming), it won't ask to save (at least that's my perception)best regardsnuno

That's how it always used to be, but now I only have to open a file then close it to get an offer to save. Could have something to do with the way screens always show zoomed out further when changing between multiple open drawings it thinks there has been a zoom.

Could be your icad.lsp is changing a drawing-level sysvar? Or it could be loading a menu.

Oh I hadn't thought of that, I will check. I do change some sysvars in Icad.lsp although these have never registered opened files as changed, in the past. But then at least one (dragmode) is remembered now where it's state was forgotten previously.

Yay thanks Xalmo, it was chamfer and fillet size variables set in icad.lsp. It's a long story but they seem to not need resetting in this version.
