future releases

maybe it's not an original idea but just crossed my mind:it would be interesting to have a survey among users with a voting for options and bug-fixes in future releases. Like this, the more wanted options would stand out...?nuno

  • Perhaps it is interesting to know how priority is assigned to development of new features and bugfixes in BricsCad. This is mainly driven by the support requests that are filed (100 per month on average), combined with what is living on IntelliCad user forums.Being development manager at BricsCad, I tend to keep a close watch on what lives among our users, as you may have noticed ;-)Best regards,Hans De Backer

  • The professional approach by Bricscad and the knowledge that someone is listening is much appreciated (even if we do sound like a bunch of whingers sometimes).100/month suggests more use Support rather than the Forum, I find it helpful to know how common a problem is, if someone has a solution or if someone has a smarter way of working than me.

  • I would like to see a improvement in 3D and in render. It will be great to have a add on like Accurender working inside Bricscad. 3D design and visualization is very important in my work. Bricscad is a great tool for 2D work, but with 3D it has a long way to go. I believe that ACIS version is very old, I don´t know if it´s a compatibility issue with Autocad, but it´s hard to work and edit solids.
