5.0.0023 - note of appreciation

When software does what we want without fuss we start to take it for granted. So while I think of it, congratulations and thanks Bricscad.I have used various versions and brands from Icad-98 with very mixed success, but every Bricscad has been good with 5.0.0023 the best ever. Just one feature for me is that I don't believe I have crashed it yet and that's one thing I am good at!I will upgrade again but you know you have something good when you hesitate to replace it.

  • I worked mixed and any version intellicad is this stiupidbecause windows buged in Intellicadand crash program. My suggestion one version one firm.Past this instalaton so as will OK that must deinstall all version and CLEAN REISTRY in WINDOWS only you may be dead certainty you have good program and not bug and crashGOOD LUCK in clean registry /slow time/

  • It's nice to hear that 5.0.0023 is working well. I am still running 4.1.0040 and have been reluctant to upgrade until most bugs are worked out. It is very time consuming for me to reset my display, shortcuts, menu bars, plot settings, etc. as well as learn to use new features while finding work-arounds for a whole new set of bugs.Is 5.0.0023 still on the market?Jeff

  • It's up to 5.1.0014 now, might as well upgrade to that if you change at all I reckon. 4.1.0040 was my previous but can't remember what if any problems I had. Probably just thought I should keep up to date. I still have 2 issues;Object Properties toolbar makes it less stable when loaded so I don't load it.Autocad users sometimes have trouble seeing xrefs in files I send them.I upgrade fairly seemlessly these days, having done it quite a few times and I guess you do things with a mind to how adaptable/transferable it might be.
