fitted polylines

Hello,I got an Autocad File with fitted polylines (level curves). When I read these entities with a vba macro I can't make the difference between the fit points and the control points because the Polyline object have not the properties or methods (3Dpolyline has !). Does anyone know how I can separate the fit points and the control points ? Thanks for your helpL. Mathias
