Can't Edit Multiple Items

Back in V4, I could select multiple items and the use the DDEDIT command to changes the properties of many entities at one time. In V5 and V6, I cannot do this even when using the dialog box to select by properties (eg. layer). I get the error: "Expects single object. There are currently 2 entities selected." I cannot seem to find a setting for multiple entity editing? Any ideas? Thanks.Joe

  • I can't see that it does anything other than Entprop... with the restriction of only doing one entity at a time. I think it used to not require a return after picking one object, then it went one return too far for a version or two.

  • Thanks for the help - I'll just use ENTPROP. Here's the response from Bricscad support: "This is a little bug and we shall report it to development team. In the meanwhile, you could change your aliases definition and set -ED to be alias for ENTPROP. It would do the same, but it shall accept multiple objects."
