Wish List - Explorer - Layers
We need to be able to change the Linetype and Plotstyle of multiple layers at once. The properties dialog does not include these properties.

Explorer can change the Linetypes of layers. Lineweight can apparently be changed that way too, but I have never applied Lineweights. Is that what you mean by Plotstyle? I just plot thickness by colour as was the only way in the past.

When using STB/Named Styles, the lineweight and plotstyles are controlled by the user in the same manner as linetype. It appears as explorer only allows the user to change them one at a time. It would be much more useful if we could select sereral layers and change them at once.

Still a little unsure what you are trying to achieve, but yes it would be useful to manipulate multiple layers in a single operation. I use script files to make, freeze, thaw and change properties of groups of layers for clients who use different colour schemes for plotting. I use names which lend themselves to batch reference so scripts can refer to them as say D* for DW2, DW3, DW5 etc.The new Layer State tools don't quite achieve their aim for me, but not sure how it could be done better.

the properties dialog for layers indeed is missing some features: lineweight, plotstyle, plot/no plot. We will add them shortly. In the latest release there is also a bug in the properties dialog: all the layers get the same color after using it. We will fix this as soon as possible and provide an update.Alexander Van Heuverzwyn,Bricscad.
