  • Good to see a new version out.Unfortunately I can't get it to work here on Suse 9.2 with wine 0.9.3, 0.9.4 or 0.9.5Anyone got any ideas?Andy

  • Sorry, I spoke too soon.I have now got it running under wine 0.9.5 by renaming my .wine directory, so creating a new one.But it will not accept my licence key either at start or from Help->Licensing->Modify so I am back to a 30 day trial.Any help appreciated.Andy

  • what kind of error do you get when you enter the licensecode? I understand the licensecode had to be reentered because you threw away the .wine directory. But it's strange that the program refuses to accept your code. A spelling error maybe? Or using a windows licensekey? Can you send the code to us for verification? Alexander Van HeuverzwynBricscad.

  • I copied from the wrong email, sorry. It has accepted the key now and shows the correct licence type.I have found another problem though, in that this version doesn't seem to want to allow more than one drawing open at a time - just crashes.Could this be due to wine 0.9.5 - as it was only released this week. Yup, now backed off to version 0.9.4 and all seems fine... so far ;)Thanks

I will stick with 0.9.4 fot the time being. So far all problems that I have had with Bricscad are gone with new version :-)Best regards, Ljubo

  • So far everything works fine with new WINE-0.9.6Best regards, Ljubo

  • That nasty Dimension settings dialog is still very buggy and unstable. Edit boxes do not work on manual editing, clicking and selecting tabs crashes Bricscad.Print dialog is rather slow comparing to other dialogs.I will fill out some bug reports.Best regards, Ljubo
