Missing something about VBA
I must be missing something, I cannot get VBA to run/install. I get an error say I need to intstall, read the readme text. I can't seem to find that. I have tried going thru both "modify" installation and "repair" installation. no luck,

try changing the security level (menu tools>security) to something else. try low and see if it makes a difference

When I go to tools>security, I get a dialog saying, "you need to install VBA6, refer to readme text". I should note, I do have VBA listed in the Tools menu. Also I noticed a similar issue elsewhere in the forum. I did try Tools>customize and then "reset" menu. No luck.

- Just to make sure ,you are using a pro installer with a pro key, and you switch on the VBA flag in the installer?- do you have the following files:(C:)\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA6\vbai60.dll(C:)\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VBA\VBA6\1033\APC60itl.dllRegards, Alexander Van Heuverzwyn

I am using a Pro installer and key. I'm not sure what you mean by "switch on VBA flag", I did check the box to "install VBA". And I do appear to have all of the files you mentioned.Should I try to Uninstall, reboot, and re_install?I guess my other question is: where is this "readme text" that describes what I am supposed to do?

I have tried fully uninstalling the program, rebooting and then re-installing. I still am in the same boat. Again, I do have the VBA listed in the tools menu, but only the Add-in manager will bring up a dialog box. All others only return the error that I need to install VBA6.
