Is there a place where one can obtain Bricscad block libraries for HVAC, elec, mech drawings (pumps, valves, symbols, etc). This will be extremely useful.

Don't think there's anything Bricscad specifically, but there are many sources on the web plus third party commercial offerings. Many manufacturers make dwg/dxf files of their products available.
