“ _pasteorig” command.

In BricsCad, how to paste a certain entities in the original coordinates? This is usable if you create a new drawing file and you want to paste a certain entities on its original coordinates. In AutoCAD it’s “ _pasteorig” command.

  • If you cut or copy from the edit menu ,all items will get the same coordinates in the new drawing. Else just use 0,0 as both origins.Good luck

  • Hi Patrik Sparrman....Thank you so much.Eddy

  • Please notice the procedure to use Copy/Paste is as follows:1. Select the entities you want to copy.2. Press Ctrl C or choose Copy in the EDIT menu.3. Switch to the target drazing (e.g. using Ctrl TAB, which allows you to cycle through all open drawings)4. Press Ctrl V or choose Paste in the EDIT menu. The selection set is now attached to the drawing cursor. If you click the lower left corner of the bounding rectangle of the selection set is placed at the specified location. If you want to paste the selection using the coordinates of the source drawing you must press ENTER.
