Zoom center locked?
v6.2.0024 xp sp2Mousewheel zooming is locked to the center-right of the screen. Shouldn't it zoom in and out wherever the mouse is pointing? It's happening all the time in all drawings, even with upgrade to latest version of 6.

Ctrl>shft>left click always zooms from or to the screen centre, but the wheel should work as you say. It might be that snap is causing it (F9), otherwise I would look at the mouse settings or condition.

I'de rather be able to use the mousewheel, but the ctrl-shift trick is better than what I'm still stuck with. F9 has no effect. I'm not sure what you mean by "condition". All I know is that the mouse behaves normally in every program other than this one. I can't find any "mouse settings", other than the OS settings, which I haven't changed, and as I said, is operating normally in all other programs. The only thing left I haven't tried is a complete wipe of Bricsys from my machine and reinstall, and I'de like to avoid that.

I bit the bullet and did a complete wipe/reinstall. Problem fixed, but now I guess I'll never know what it was until it happens again.

Aha! The problem came back, and now I know why! I have a dual monitor setup with the right monitor as No 1. I moved BC to the left monitor, and zoom is stuck center-right! I moved it back to the right monitor, zooms normally!Jeeeeeezzzz....

For your information: this is one of the things that were fixed in V8...Kind regards,Hans

Glad you found the cause.I meant perhaps there was something wrong with your mouse, or the driver/program settings for some mice include things like "disable acceleration in games" and can inappropriately apply to Icad sessions but not to most other programs.
