V8 Active point versus cursor position with snap to grid
I've noticed that with grid snap turned on (handy for block diagrams, etc.) the AutoSnap (?) position tends not to correspond with the cursor but lags behind it by one snap position. This seems to occur only when moving X after an X line or Y after a Y line.A work-around is to either continue moving the cursor past the intended end of the line segment (so that the trailing marker lands where I want it to) or to "zig" 90 degrees from the direction of the line and land on the intended end point from the side.8.0.11 build 8456

Thanks for reporting this problem. We noticed it depends on the Polar tracking setting: switching it off makes the problem go away.We will fix this with priority.FYI, the preferred way to report similar issues is to use the Support Request pages: this makes it easier for us to process the issue and assign it to a developer. Thanks anyway for this valuable feedback.Hans De Backer

Just received a message from the developer concerned that he fixed the problem. Will be available in V8.0.12 next week.
