BricsCad's equivalent AutoCAD version?

I realize that BricsCad will save up to the current AutoCAD dwg format. But, BricsCad doesn't create or edit all entities. Up to what Acad DWG version is BricsCad able to create/edit all the entities.As best as I can figgure out, BricsCad v8 is only up to AutoCAD version 2002 in these terms. Any one think otherwise?Joe Dunfee

    We've discovered there are items generated in AC Mechanical that work only in Mechanical. They become "dumb" items if written down to an earlier version. Even a parallel version of Autocad can not edit these items!
