frozen layers on paper space

what's the point on freezing the layers in a layout (paper space mode)if you can still see those layers inside the viewport (really in the model space)? I'd like to use the same drawing in the model space and put different layers visible in the layout, depending on the scale and the details I pretend to show.

  • Hello,You are freezing using the wrong setting, to freeze layers in a viewport independently of other viewports you need to use the freeze current viewport icon, in your layer manager you will find it on the far right next to the last columnBest Regards,José

  • that's what i've done. Nothing happend to the visibility of those elements that are behind the paper space (in the model space)thanks for that quick answer anyway

  • Sorry, you were right. I had chosen to frozen those layers in new viewports, but as i was creating new ones by copying others (with those layers on) it wasn't resulting the way i expected. My mistake. Sorry again.
