missing render

v.7 used to have nice render options such as quick render. Will this version ever get it back? or do we have to install both versions so we can render our 3D drawings?

Quick Render will indeed come back, but it needs reworking. It used to store all material, view and other render settings in a proprietary, not-acad-compatible way, so this should be rewritten. Also, we plan to support working in continuously rendered mode: allow selecting, creating and modifying entities without leaving rendered mode.Work on the new Quick Render implementation probably will start at the end of this year. Meanwhile those who need rendering can indeed keep V7 installed till the new generation of Quick Render becomes available.
