converting SolidWorks files to DWG for BricsCad

Hi,I am trying to use drawings from SolidWorks format, but It won´t work!? I have heard that I can use a .SAT format, but that doesn´t work neither!

    You say you want to open Solidworks DRAWINGS. But, a Solidworks drawing is always a 2d file... sort of the equivalent of BricsCad's paperspace. You can export these files as a DWG.A SAT file is the 3D model itself. You would export the SAT file from the SW model, and then import into BricsCad using the _SATIN command. What you may run into difficulty with is that there are different versions of SAT files. SW can be set to export in older versions if necessary.Joe DUnfee
