How install Bricscad in Ubuntu 8.04

    unzip the packge, put it to /opt/bricscad, it should be work.You can add the item to the main meun for convient.

    I wasn't able to use the default wine version in debian lenny so I'm running 0.9.44 from winehqubuntu may be similar

    Don't know if this will be of any help, but BricsCAD loaded in wine with no problems and runs just fine for me except 1) it's slow and 2) text is shown as boxes rather than as text. I think the text problem is that I haven't bothered to point to my font libraries. -- Until it really works, I'll just keep running old Bricscad in old Windows. It does what I need.Am runningUbuntu 7.10KDE 3.5.8Wine 9.46Bricscad 7.1.0011
