    Have you tried double clicking on the block instance that you want to modify?

    To open the Attribute Editor dialog 1. do one of the following:- Click the Edit Block Attributes... tool button on the Tools toolbar.- Choose Edit Block Attributes... in the Tools menu.- Type eattedit in the command bar, then press Enter.2. Select a block with attributes.Alternatively you can double click the block.
