  • In version 9, use the REFEDIT command, then make any changes you want to the block, then use the REFCLOSE command.Or, in any version, if you know how to load Lisp routines, you can use the KK and BK commands found at:http://www.bricscad.com/protected/en_INTL/support/forumthread.jsp?id=7682Select any insertion of the block and use the KK command. KK creates a new insertion of the block and explodes it, and draws a temporary line from the insertion point. Then you can make whatever changes you want. When finished, select all the elements of the exploded copy of the block and use the BK command, which deletes them and the temporary line and updates the block definition.

  • The KK and BK commands doesn't work under BricsV7.Now, refedit command works fine for changing color of blocksThx - RSTAS

  • Perhaps you already knew this, but just in case:Another way to control/modify the color of entities contained in blocks is to use the ByBlock and ByLayer color settings. This will allow you, without editing the blocks, to modify the color of their content later on.
