Save as DWG 2006

We have a customer who uses AutoCAD 2006. It would be nice to be able to send him DWG-Files in 2006 format. At the moment, we have to send the files as DWG 2004.I would like to know, why it is not possible in Bricscad V8 to save files as DWG 2006. Is it planned to implement this function?

    You are doing the right thing: the Dwg format did not change between Autocad 2004 and 2006, only in 2007 it was modified. So the native format of Autocad 2006 is the dwg 2004 format.Kind regards

    I was puzzled about the same thing when I had to save files for a client using Acad 2006. Now I know.
