Ref.cui

You're doing better than me, Jos. I can't get it to work in v8 or v9.When I try to load "ref.cui" as a partial menu, I get this error message:Fatal Error, line 2, char 1Invalid document structureBut the first character on line 2 is "<" so that message doesn't help me. The next character is "!" but I don't know anything about CUI file structure, so I don't know if that's the problem.Jos, did you do something different from the instructions when you set it up, to get it working in v8? And maybe forgot to do that when setting it up for v9?

Strange behaviour.I've restarted my computer and now it works???? (i'm happy )@AnthonyI installed it again in version 9, in the same way the knowledgement base says, step by step. I copied the strings in to the new 2 files again in the correct directorys. Maybe you can do it by beginning from scratch?

To enable the 'From' snap option please read the topic "Enabling From or Ref Point" in the Bricscad Help under User Guide / Drawing Accurately.

I do something similar, calling a lisp function from within my .mnu which I maintain instead of the .cui. I noticed that recently when I used ***ACCELERATORSID_HFAR ["F12"] to call ID_hfarhfar;hfar (all within the .mnu), ID_HFAR had become case sensitive. It was not case sensitive before some time in V9.The other possible issue is that some lisps (of mine) just stop working after a while, usually after some fairly intense work with larger files. Restarting Icad fixes it... for a while. There are 2 parts to the problem - calling "from", and the function of "from". Pasting "from" on the command line confirms for me that it works.

My routine for achieving "from" is;There is a separate lisp (trak.lsp) on the disk.A line in on_doc_load says (LOAD "TRAK").A line in one of my pull downs says [!(TRAK)]!(TRAK) - the ! makes it run transparently
