  1. Revision cloudWhen making a revision loud using an entity (for example a rectangle) the resulting cloud is by default oriented to the interior of the entity and always have to choose to reverse direction. Is there anyway you could change the default orientation to the exterior of the entity?2. When writing a Multiple Lines text the text window is always covered by the text toolbar and we have to drag it away or pan the drawing. This is anoying. Also it would be very usefull if instead of having to click the OK button to finish this command you could click anywhere outside of the text window like in Autocad.

  • Please use the Support Request pages for feature requests. Thanks!

  • About revision clouds:Whether the revision cloud is created 'inside' or 'outside' depends on the direction of the rectangle:- rectangle drawn top left / bottom right: revcloud = inside- rectangle drawn bottom left / top right: revcloud = outside

  • Thanks that solves the issue about the rev cloud

  • By the way, considering a click outside the Mtext editor as an 'OK' is indeed handy, we will give it a try.On the other hand, the situation where the "text window is always covered by the text toolbar" is something we could not reproduce using Bricscad V9.1.9. If you experience this using V9.1.9 then please file a support request with a detailed description how we can reproduce this phenomenon, preferably attach a sample drawing.Kind regards

  • I will download V9.1.9, install it and let you know if that solved the problem.

  • For your information: V9.1.10 is currently going through final testing, normally it will be released in a couple of hours. We used to send mails to all Bricscad users whenever an update became available. This required thousands of mails to be sent out, and as a result we were placed on several spam lists and our mails got blocked... so we now have switched to providing RSS feeds instead. To remain informed in real-time about new Bricscad releases, please subscribe to the following rss feed: http://www.bricsys.com/rss/rss.jsp?channel=bcadKind regards

  • re: ending an mText editing session by clicking outside the editing window. Some CAD programs use the numeric keypad Enter key to end Mtext editing. Both hands are normally on the keyboard at that point, and there's something very pleasant about ending the session without changing over to the mouse.

  • Hans,Can you provide brief instructions on how to subsribe to RSS feed? Thanks, Joe

  • To subscribe to a Bricsys RSS feed, proceed as follows:- Go to the Home page on the Bricsys website. The RSS logo (orange square) is now displayed in the Command bar (IE 7+) or in the Address bar (Firefox 3).- Click the RSS logo and choose one of our three RSS feeds. Choose "Bricscad News" if you want to be informed about the Bricscad releases.- The selected RSS feed page opens displaying all RSS items.- At the top of this page, you can subscribe to the feed.
