Plans to use other native file formats besides DWG
Hi Bricsys,are there any plans to enable/support open file formats like XML, IFC etc as native formats (not as export options) for Bricscad and verticals ( architecturals ...) ?Within the relative new problematic of BIM (building information modeling) and the necessity to exchange and use CAD information in other packages for evaluation purposes, could thisbe a possibility to switch to open native formats ?Would it be technically possible, feasible and effective to have a 100% equivalent of theDWG in IFC or XML format ?
