transparent raster images
With raster images is there a way to make a particular color transparent?, like transparent GIF or PNG on the web sites?ThanksSteve

after searching the web for a while I have found basically nothing... this is a "transparency" attribute for a raster entity but it only works with bitonal images only...anyone know how to make one of these? i can't seem to do it with photoshop and I'm pretty familiar with the app...Steve

i spoke too soon... after looking around the web for a program that will downsave i finally found a free application that will do it..... IrfanView software will down save an image to 1 bit black and white TIFFI used TIFF CCITT FAX4 compression, inserted it into a DWG and turned transparency on and it worked...Next time I won't trace it! Hopefully someone else will find this useful...Steve
