Dynamic tooltips
We use both BricsCAD 9.2.11, and ACAD 2009, and we are trying to phase ACAD out, this is bringing some challenges for me as I am the "Go-To-Guy" for BricsCAD, for user questions. I have a couple of users who have wondered about BricsCAD having the dynamic tooltips like ACAD 2009. I have looked, with no luck...is this an option with me just not knowing where to look, or is there no option like this for BricsCAD?

You mean the tooltips which appear when the cursor hovers over a toolbar? That works on mine, has always worked. There is a setting for it which I believe defaults to on.

Thanks, but, no, that isn't what I mean. The dynamic tool tips, can show a variety of information, from distance/length, to angle, as well as a location for command entry. some people here have grown accustomed to this from ACAD 2009, but, personally, I find it too cluttered and distracting. If I could paste onto this forum, I could show you a screen shot.

Shawn, I think they're going to upgrade the forum soon. But for now we share images by posting them elsewhere (such as FreeImageHosting), and then post the address of the image here, or a link to it. Links use the same format as Mudcat's linkmaker.

Sorry, it took so long...the image shows the set-up screen from ACAD 2009 to set up the Dynamic Tooltips. I was just wondering, if BricsCAD had something like this, called something else, or if the were even considering something like this as a future enhancement. To view image image- http://www.freeimagehosting.net/uploads/59eaa8803b.jpg

We indeed consider this as a possible future enhancement, but no target date has been set yet.
