Using Zoom XP in model space when in layout

I use zoom (scale)XP in model space to get the correct plot scale when in Layout. For example, "Zoom" "centre" "0.5XP"If I repeat this the above commands, the screen plot becomes smaller & smaller with each repeat.Any explanation?

I am using Briscad Pro 9.2.7 build 13929

It's a bug, which the new release page lists as having been corrected 7 releases ago.
