 Hi ..
I just installed Ubuntu 14.04 BricsCad V14 in the end and I realize that my files. Dwg. Bak has not changed its still have the same generic icon. I've been looking for San Google and have not found BrisCad original icons for this forum cusa wonder if anyone has icons and whether what happened is normal or have had a problem with the installation.

  • Bryan,

    At least in the RPM package there are icons installed at:

    p, li { white-space: pre-wrap; }

    usr/share/icons/gnome/48x48/mimetypes/gnome-mime-application-x-bricscadv13.png
    /usr/share/pixmaps/bricscadv13.png

    Perhaps it's just a matter of associate it with *.dwg and *.dxf file extensions in your DE file association utility.

    I'm using openSUSE with KDE4, so your case will differ somewhat. I'd start by listing the files in the install package, I think its the BricsCADxxx.deb you downloaded from the site.

    Good luck.
  • Note: I mistakenly listed the files in BricsCAD 13, but it's the same for Bricscad 14:

    usr/share/icons/gnome/48x48/mimetypes/gnome-mime-application-x-bricscadv14.png
    /usr/share/pixmaps/bricscadv14.png
