Selecting overlapping objects

Hi,
is there a way in Bricscad to select overlapping objects - just the one that is in the bottom (for instance cube and a polyline, which copies edges of thet cube)? I am running into this issue quite often when trying to model in 3D. Currently I am solving it by selecting both objects with cross selection and then shift-clicking on the object to deselect the top one. But this is sub-optimal. Is there any other way to select overlapping objects than doing this trickery (or other tricks like isolating layers etc.)? Something similar to AutoCAD's Selection Cycling or hiding selection.
