V15 BIM? New solids to sheet metal tools?

I've been waiting for our IT department to install V15.  In the meantime I see that V15 now has BIM.   I've never seen it defined.   What is it, and how is it different than the solid modeling I've been doing with V14?

Also, I understand that BricsCAD V15 now contains tools to "hollow out" solids, and convert them to sheet metal assemblies. The only video tutorial I found for that was so fast, that I could not follow it.

    BricsCAD V15 User Guide on Sheet Metal contains a special section on converting 3D solid geometry to a valid sheet metal part.
