How to stop face selection when in a shaded view?

If I am in a view with obscured lines hidden, and I want to do a crossing window to select something in the foreground, BricsCAD prevents this because it assumes I am selecting the face of the object in the background.  I imagine there is some sort of setting to prevent this. But, I have not been able to find it in the help file.

How can I turn off selection of faces?

Thank you in advance.

  •  Hi Joe
In the release notes of V15.2.5 you can read:
PICKAUTO: added support for PICKAUTO == 2. With this, window selection is initiated even if one is hovering over an entity by clicking and dragging the mouse.
To set this option: choose Settings in the Settings menu, then edit the PICKAUTO system variable under Program Options / Selection.
  • In V15.2 we added support for PICKAUTO == 2. With this, window selection is initiated by clicking and dragging the mouse even if one is hovering over the face of an entity, while a rendered display mode is active.
