Internal corner fillet?

While I'm generally progressing OK with getting to grips with Brics. One silly thing still evading me is adding a fillet to an internal corner on a 3D solid. Fillet command invites me to select edges, but then produces an external fillet, undercutting the corner.

How do you get a internal corner fillet between 2 adjacent faces?

Comments

  • By choosing an internal corner of the solid. Two adjacent solids are considered separate bodies, so the edge between them is really an external edge on one of the solids. If they are unioned, then the edge is recognized as an internal edge and the fillet is formed between them.

  • Thanks Richard, your PDF shows exactly what i get vs what I want. I thought I had 'unioned' the primitives into a unified solid, but I'll double check that.

  • union was the answer - thanks.
