What is this?

Hello.
In some drawings I get this strange from Bricscad (see attachment).
How can I get rid of it?
Why does Bricscad want to work with more than 10.000 objects, if I want to move one?

Thanks,
Sascha

  • This is perhaps related to the HPOBJWARNING variable.

  • What is the HPOBJWARNING?

  • Ah, ok - in German: "Schraffur Muster Objekt Warnung".
What kind of warning belonging to hatch and 10.000 objects must appear if I want to move one single polyline?
    Isn´t it a bug?

  • You can search for variable names in the _Settings dialog.

If the issue is indeed related to the HPOBJWARNING variable there must be very many hatches associated with the polyline. If you move the boundary of an associative hatch and not the hatch itself, BricsCAD will recalculate the hatch pattern. If many hatches are involved this can take a long time hence the warning.

  • This is why I am confused.
Even if I draw a new line the message appears.
No connection to hatches and/or pattern.
Do you have another solution for the problem?

    Thanks in advance.
    Sascha

  • Assuming this does not occur in other drawings, I guess there is an issue with the one you are working on. Maybe _Audit can fix fix it. If not: send in a Support Request.
