PDF file is larger than DWG file - that's not right

Can anyone tell me what to do to reduce the file size of PDF's created by "export"
This is in Basic 2D v16 of Brics

    Maybe review your options under PDF in "Export Options". Image compression, DPI, etc.

    There is no real fair comparison of DWG size to PDF. A DWG could be bloated with non-graphical data that never makes it to a PDF. So the only somewhat fair comparison is creation of PDF files with different drivers. I opened a drawing with vectors, truetype mtext and a few images. The built in driver created a 238K PDF, using Adobe's Print Driver created a smaller 88K PDF. the drawing and images were 1215K.
