    after a quick test,
I can not confirm, I am able to print the layouts and the viewports are plotted.
maybe there is something wrong with your PDF-printer settings.

have you tried to PUBLISH your layouts to PDF?

  • I've noticed that checking the "Plot Transparencies" checkbox helps with multiple image and .pdf related plotting issues.

  • it is visible everywhere but when I plot into pdf it went missing

  • I had the same problem. Three viewports in my layout but only 2 were showing when I printed PDF. I found a solution. Select the problem viewport then click on the Viewport style indicator on the lower right-hand portion of the screen. Select the same style of the good viewport. (In my case - Shades of Gray) POOF!!!! It works !!! Yea !
  • "Viewport style indicator on the lower right-hand portion of the screen" - what's that, sounds useful but can't see what you're meaning.
  • Tom, when a viewport is selected, its "Visual style" property is shown near the bottom of the Properties panel.
I never noticed it before, and I can't tell what it does or why.
  • Oh yes - when in Modelspace too. This is good news - I only just put in a feature request for visualstyle to be an item on the bar across bottom of screen, whats it called. But this is better - and it works fast compared with typing VISU and selecting in Drawing Explorer which then comes up, takes seconds to make the switch there but seems to be instant in Properties.

In Properties, visualstyle is only live and selectable in Modelspace - in Paperspace it's greyed out.

    Really good news - thanks.

The visualstyle becomes selectable in paperspace when you select a viewport (or multiple viewports if they need to have the same style).
  • You're right - good.
