Centermarks in 2d drawing view of 3d model

Hi All
First time here
I have a 2d drawing maded from using drawing views of a 3d model
I'm trying to place centermarks on the circle using the "centermark" tool from the dimension toolbar
is this the correct tool to use? as I cant seem to be able to select the circles in the 2d plan - what is the correct workflow

    You a right. Somehow nested circles (nested in _ViewBase blocks for example) are not accepted as input. Try the 'old' _DimCenter command instead.
    You may want to send in a Support Request regarding this.
