Corrupted layout? Can't see entities in new MVIEW viewport.

What I can see are grips, but not entities. Grips become visible when I do SELECT ALL. Also, the grip pattern is smaller than expected. Even with ZOOM EXTENTS.

The screenshot detail shows the grips
"ViewportDiag1a.dwg" is the drawing. It has a new layout where an MVIEW viewport works. The old layout, "BasePlate", has the problem viewport.

I would just start over, but in my source drawing there is work done on dimensioning and annotation.

Any suggestions?

    I was able to delete the bad viewport. Then, putting a new one on the same layout worked well. So, it appears that the viewport was what was corrupt. That was not hard to replace.

    But I don't think Viewports should go corrupt anyway.
    I think the support would love to check such a corrupt Viewport,
    if you still have a file version with one ...
