ctrl-tab and cut and paste with keyboard short cuts not working?

Using V19.2.05 for first time and control keys do not work? Can not ctrl-tab between dwgs and can not cut and paste with ctrl-c and ctrl-v...the command key seems to be used in place for the ctrl key but not all functions. ctrl tab works in other programs.

Also can not find system printers. only the print to pdf option shows up.

I am using a 2017 5k iMac with os 10.14.5

Any help would be appreciated.

  • It was CTRL like on Windows in previous Mac versions.
But I think it was brought to Mac standard two years ago.

So everything works with CMD+... on Mac now.

  • Thanks

cmd - tab changes programs as opposed to tabs within the same program that I am trying to sort out.

  • Sorry,
didn't read correctly, you already know on Bricscad Mac it is CMD.

Don't know a key combination to switch files.
CMD for me immediately brings view pan, even without clicking.

For some other important Mac-ported App's functions in general,
I sometimes deactivate some of Apple's default key combinations
(those I never used) if I need them for an App.
Not a solution just a workaround.

Maybe there are some other ways to set mouse or key combinations
    by Bricscad's UI Customization (?)

You can assign Ctrl+Tab shortcut for switching between drawing tabs in macOS System preferences (Shortcuts tab of Keyboard pane).
Add custom shortcut for Bricscad application for Next and Previous menu items (menu Window -> Next, Window -> Previous):

    See attached screenshot.
