Block redefinition and Attributes

We use Blocks for our Title Blocks, recently I have updated the title block for an electronic signature. My issue is that when I update the block using the file from disk, the attributes with scale, sheet title etc. are no longer visible. When I double click the block, the attribute Dialog displays, and the values are still there. Any ideas for a solution? Thanks.
