Conceptual Mode Visual Style. Inserted Components vs Standard Parts

When I insert external components on a drawing, when in conceptual mode the color is "grayed" (when opening the original componet file, the color is "strong").
When I insert a standard component on the same drawing, the color of the parts are "strong".
Why is that so? Can this behaviour be changed?
