DIST AND AREA COMAND PROBLEM

WHEN I USE THE DISTANCE AND AREA COMMAND THE ANSWER JUST BLINKS ON AND THEN OFF SO FAST YOU CAN NOT SEE THE ANSWER ON THE COMMAND LINE

    The command COMMANDLINE will show you the commandline Panel which will display the DISTANCE and AREA command results.
    Double-clicking the status bar achieves the same result.
