Exporting U3D model for 3D PDF

Hi all,

I want to add a 3D model to a small section of my 1 page PDF.
I believe Adobe Acrobat pro only allows .U3D and PRC files.

Any help is much appreciated!

  • Hi
    Are you wanting to add an image of the model or an actual 3D animated model?
    A rendered image is easy but I don't think it's as easy to make a "good" 3D pdf or the files you mentioned from Brics. Do you have Bricscad communicator enabled? This may lead to a file type which can then be converted on line to a suitable file type you can use.
    There are several file converter services available on line.
    There are also screen recorders which can create GIF files that may be suitable.
    PDF = Problematic Document File
    Foxit reader is an excellent pdf editor/reader you might like to try.
    Hope this helps.

  • Hello, you can follow these steps to add a 3D model to our PDF

    Choose Tools > Rich Media > Add 3D.

    Drag a rectangle on the page to define the canvas area for the 3D file.

    In the Insert 3D dialog box, click Browse to select the 3D file, then click Open. Click OK.
