Cannot snap to endpoints when placing dimensions

I am trying to dimension between object endpoints but BricsCAD is ignoring endpoints and instead selecting the whole line.
Is there a way to disable this 'smart' behaviour?

  What's your OSMODE setting?

  OSMODE is set to 63 and includes endpoints.

  Guessing you try to use "Dimension" command . Try using "Linear Dimension" instead.
