You can use the imprint command to split faces.
Split 3D solid's face [ Solved ]
In AutoCAD exist the command meshsplit to split 3d solid's face, in Bricscad I can not find anything similar.

The MESHSPLIT command in AutoCAD splits a 3D mesh face into two faces NOT a 3d solid's face !

If you are really working with solids and not meshess, I would advise to cut the whole solid with Slice command. Then modify as you wish. Then glue back Union.

dmSimplify or SOLIDEDIT\Body\cLean will merge all adjacent coplanar faces. I don't know if there's a way to merge only some faces.

If it is a Solid, you can usually just select an Edge and delete it.
