  • @ChristophT Is the attached video what you are trying to achieve?

At the bottom left of the screen are three horizontal lines, left-click these and the dialogue opens.

Left-click one of the existing layouts, and one of the options is to copy the layout.

Hopefully, that is what you are after.

  • No not really. For Example, i have a Autobahn (highway) 10 km long and 23 layouts. All Layouts have the same papersize, plotstyle, printer. I create the Layouts with extra Software Provi (provi-cad.de) for civil ingeneering. but i have to set Plotstyle, plotter, papersize for each layout. in Acad, i set up one layout and copy all these setting to the other layouts. I do not copy the layouts.

  • @ChristophT After another trawl of the forum and the help pages, I am hoping this time it is the PSETUPIN, that you are looking for.

This post seems to discuss it.

  • Thanks. Thats not want i need, but it helped me to find the solution.

If you open the bcad explorer, navigate to page setup → there is a point named based on

there you can choose another Layout and voila, the settings are copied. PLotter, plot style page size,….

  • Just another way hit the Apply button bottom left, this saves the current settings.

Go to another layout and as per image top left.

Ok this may be a better way to go I have made 44 layouts in one go. Walking along a pline. The viewports are rotated to match the pline, at scale and size matching a title block that you have in a layout. The rectangs can be moved, rotated or deleted before making layouts.

It will cost you a cup of coffee as I normally have to edit the code to suit a client. It was developed to do just what your trying to do.

Another answer is Civil Site Design runs inside Bricscad and will auto create layouts for you as well as do so much more for Surfaces, Roads, Drainage & Sewerage.

  • Civil Site Design looks good, but does not know the german guidlines and regulations for Civil ingeneering and road design. We have www.provi-cad.de
